Biography:

Lindani is a University Lecturer in the Department of Demography, Settlement and Development (UZ) with a particular interest in Automated Computer-Aided Design , Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sesing. He is broadly interested in the impacts of these Urban Planning technologies on shaping urban environmental ecosystems and the resulting functional consequences on urban morphology. His research focus is on how G.I.S and Remote Sensing technologies can be used to mitigate against Human-Wildlife Conflict in both rural and urban areas. He has a broad interest in Biodiversity Conservation but he tends to be drawn to topics such as Behavioral Ecology which have so far escaped much scientific attention. He has experience in teaching Introductory and Advanced AutoCad, AchCad, G.I.S(softwares) to both Undergrad and Postgraduate students . Lindani is also an Urban and Regional Planner by profession and a Corporate Member of the Zimbabwe Institute of Urban and Regional Planners.
